APRIL CLASS – Easter Projects
Are you in the mood for Easter at long last?
This month there are three projects that work really well for the Easter season but can also be adapted for other occasions if creating Easter crafts isn’t high on your ‘must do’ list.
I’ve had to adjust my regular schedule a little this month so there’s no Friday class but I have added a Monday date by special request.
Monday 7th APRIL
10am – 1pm
NARRE WARREN
$20 per person
Children able to entertain themselves in the next room are welcome!
OR
Thursday 10th APRIL
8pm – 11pm
NARRE WARREN
$20 per person
Here are the three projects in a little more detail. The first is a Card In A Box. I don’t know who originated this idea but everyone is giving them a go at the moment and I’ve had so many requests to do this as a class project I didn’t really have a choice. So here’s my take using the Backyard Basics bundle and some watercolouring:
These amazing cards can have a LOT of dimension…
…but they still fold flat and fit in a standard envelope:
The next project is super easy and takes just one sheet of paper from the 48 that come in the Fresh Prints Paper Stack (just $11.95!) This cute little caddy can hold a selection of mini-eggs or a larger one egg cup style. If you’ve having guests over for an Easter meal you can use them as place markers at your table. They’re so simple you’ll have enough made for everyone in no time.
Thanks to Sam Donald at Pootles for this innovative idea!
Both projects so far have featured the Backyard Basics Bundle:
Backyard Basics Bundle (p79)
Buy the Stamp Set & Framelits together and save 15%
Wood (132729) $72.95

And the final project is a little more obviously an Easter one:
This card features the Eggstra Spectacular stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue (p32) and the Positively Chevron Background stamp from the Annual Catalogue (p126)
